Mass Times at St Peter-in-Chains
Mass is said every day of the week in the church, except Tuesday and Friday when it is said at the Convent and Maridon Centre respectively.
There are three Sunday Masses and a Polish Vigil Mass. Additional Masses are said on Holy days.

The Maridon Centre & Bookshop
The Parish's Maridon Centre is situated on Netherhall Road, close to Sunny Bar. It serves light refreshments and provides a quiet oasis close to the Markets. It also incorporates a chapel for silent prayer,
where Mass is said every Friday at noon.
Next door is the Maridon Bookshop, open Tuesday to Friday
10.00am to 3.00pm.
Christmas Dinner for the Homeless
The tradition of providing Christmas dinner for the Homeless at St Peter's continued this year. The meal was prepared and served by members of various local churches, with a sizeable contingent from our own parish.

In the medieval period the Shrine of Our Lady of Doncaster
was one of the most famous Marion Shrines in all England
and was the principal Shrine dedicated to Our Lady in Yorkshire.

Success of SVP Project in India
The St Peter-in -Chains St Vincent de Paul Conference's recent responce to an appeal by a sister Conference in India has resulted in the establishment of a successful training project for young women
Garden of Our Lady of Doncaster
A sacred sensory garden, dedicated to Our Lady, has been created alongside the Shrine of Our Lady of Doncaster. The concept had occurred when a sculpture of three stainless steel stars from Priory Walk Shopping Centre was offered to the Church.

As part of the Parish's continuing programme of arranging pilgrimages to the holy places connected to our own Sacred Garden, we recently visited the abbeys at Rievaulx and Ampleforth in North Yorkshire and the city of York.

Pet Blessing and Thanksgiving for our Environment 2011
On 2nd October, the Sunday closest to St Francis of Assisi's Feast Day, we held a thanksgiving service for animals and the environment. Parishioners and their pets came in numbers and here are a few photos of taken during the celebration.

A St Leger Week Welcome
The Parish is a passive host to many events that take place in Doncaster throughout the year. The most high profile and perhaps the most long standing is the St. Leger Festival in September..
Unveiling of Monument in commemoration of former Doncaster Aerodrome and its aviators.
Doncaster has a long and varied history connected to aviation. Little physical evidence now exists of the former Doncaster Aerodrome, at times an RAF/ RFC base and civil airfield. Recently a monument recognising the site's history and those who flew from there was unveiled.
